The Fancy Place is a home improvement store that retails functional household accessories to organize & beautify spaces.
From experience and interactions, many new residents have difficulty locating local stores around their new location; one of these is a home improvement store such as ours. The Fancy Place was founded in 2018 out of desire to make home improvement products easily accessible to new and existing residents. We launched our business online and have since served over 2,000 clients, whom we fondly refer to as our “FancyFam”.
In 2022, we opened our first walk-in store in Apo Resettlement, a heavily residential region of Abuja town. Since our physical store opening, we have been able to serve even more clients helping our growing brand open another non-walk-in storage location within a year.
At The Fancy Place, we provide fancy, functional and aesthetically pleasing household products to Families Nationwide and across borders. With a trail of satisfied and returning customers, we hope to change people’s place of abode, one home at a time.

Bukky Oyelana is a dynamic project manager at a leading software services company, venturing into Entrepreneurship due to her love for fine household pieces.
Bukky’s fervent commitment to problem-solving and innovative solutions has been the driving force behind her entrepreneurial endeavors. Her problem-solving instinct led to the setup of The Fancy Place, a growing brand that bridges the gap and helps new and old residents shop home improvement goods in the convenience of their homes.
Bukky firmly believes that each individual possesses the power to make a positive change in the world, a belief that drives her daily pursuits.
